Janna Rijpma Meppelink is an experienced wine journalist, sought-after speaker and senior judge at prestigious European wine competitions. She was named Wine Woman of the Year 2024 and is a fixture in the Dutch wine world.

Janna teaches master classes, advises large companies as a consultant, and writes for various wine media. As founder of The Night of Wine and organizer of the Grands Vins du Beaujolais Cru competition, she is known for her innovative approach.

She performed with Laurens van Rooyen in The Bordeaux Suite, a poetic piano project around wine experience. She is currently working on a publication about the Dealu Mare wine region in Romania for Winelover Romania.
