The Wine Talks with Peter Klosse

In this episode we welcome  Peter Klosse, a name that is inseparably connected with taste gastronomy and wine in the Netherlands. Peter is a gastronome wine expert and founder of the Academy for Gastronomy and has for decades been regarded as one of the most important thinkers in the field of taste and food and wine pairings.

Peter looks at wine differently. Not from labels or scores but from balance mouthfeel intensity and harmony. During the conversation he takes us along in his vision on tasting and explains why taste is not a coincidence but the result of structure context and experience.

Together we taste different wines and analyze what happens in the glass but above all what happens with the taster. Why does one wine work and another not How does food influence our perception and why is simplicity sometimes more powerful than complexity

A conversation that inspires challenges and makes you look differently at what you drink and eat. This episode is a must for everyone who does not only want to experience wine and gastronomy but also wants to understand it.

In this episode we tasted the following wines:

  • Lange DOC Rossesse bianco Rosserto
  • Bodega Pradorey Rosado
  • Bourgogne Rouge Epineuil 2022
